Khutbah: For All Shall Be Levels According To Their Deeds

Indeed we will depart from this dunya. We will depart and will be accountable before Allaah subhaanahu wa ta’aala.

In this khutbah Ustaadh gives a severe admonition as to what we will earn according to the degrees of our actions, our deeds and our speech. We will only receive from the bounty of Allaah subhaanahu wa ta’aala according to these deeds and actions. So we must hasten in this dunya to acquire good deeds, and perfecting those deeds.

Allaah subhaanahu wa ta’aala says regarding those that are obedient to Him:

“They are in varying grades with Allaah, and Allaah is All-Seer of what they do.”

– Surah Ali ‘Imran [3:163] – Al-Qur’aan

O Allaah! Grant Us Tawfeeq So That What Is Unknown to The People About Us Becomes More Upright Than What They Know!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi [hafidhahullaah] said:
Indeed, a believer may hide some of his deeds, whilst his inner self is more upright [i.e. the righteousness in his heart etc] than his outward deeds [i.e. the righteous deeds he or she does openly etc]

Khutbah: Recommended Fasts After Ramadhaan

Fasting does not end at the end of Ramadhaan. Allaah has legislated other fasts which we can engage in to still attain the benefits of fasting and to keep us in that state of discipline & mindfulness towards Allaah.

Allaah has blessed that we were in the month of Ramadhaan and He has blessed us that we have completed the month.

Righteous deeds and the worship of Allaah do not end with the end of Ramadhaan. They should continue after the month of Ramadhaan.

Fasting in the month of Ramadhaan brought so many benefits for us, taught us many lessons, patience, perseverance, self control, self discipline. These things we can carry on outside the blessed month.

Let us all safeguard what Ramadhaan taught us. Let us safeguard those benefits and let us safeguard that purification & cleansing that we attained during the blessed month.

If We Miss The Closest Rows Behind The Imaam, Then Strive to Be On The Right Side of The Masjid Whilst Praying Behind Him

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Al-Baraa’a [radiyallaahu anhu] said:
When we prayed behind the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam], we liked to be on his right..
[Saheeh Muslim’ Number 1642]

Shaikh Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [hafidhahullaah] said: Al- Haafidh Ibn Hajar [rahimahullaah] said in Al-Fath 1/270: This hadeeth is utilised as proof to show that it is desired that one prays on the right of the Imaam – in the right side of the Masjid [i.e. on the right whilst praying behind the Imaam].

What Does The First Takbeer of The Prayer Remind The Performer of The Prayer? – [By Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab (rahimahullaah)]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The performer of the prayer says ‘Allaahu Akbar’ whilst standing based on his [or her] ability to do so [i.e. must stand whilst making the first Takbeer unless illness or injury prevents him or her]. Nothing else is permissible [to be said or uttered before the first Takbeer]. And the wisdom behind starting the [prayer with the statement Allaahu Akbar] is so that the performer of the prayer is reminded of the greatest of the One [i.e. Allaah] in whose presence he [or she] is standing and thus it brings about khas’yah [i.e. fear of Allaah based on having knowledge of Allaah’s greatness, absolute dominion, sovereignty etc].
Shaikh Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [hafidhahullaah] said:
So, the performer of the prayer begins the prayer with the statement ‘Allaahu Akbar’ and this is called the ‘Takbeeratul Ih’raam’. It is given this name because after saying it, everything that was permissible for the performer of the prayer before he or she made the ‘Takbeeratul Ih’raam’ becomes impermissible, such as talking, eating, drinking and other than it. This is because the Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said:
The key to the prayer is purification [i.e. one must fulfil all the requirements of physical purification before the prayer], Wa Tahreemuhaa At-Takbeer [i.e. after one says Allaah Akbar, other actions such as eating, talking, drinking become impermissible], Wa Tahleeluhaa At-tasleem [i.e. all other actions, such as eating, drinking, talking becomes permissible after the Tasleem].

Donate 10 In The Last 10

This is a tremendous opportunity to capitalise on these remaining blessed days of Ramadhān before us.

The last ten days are the most virtuous part of Ramadhān and within them there is the most virtuous night of the year. The highest multiplication of rewards can be achieved by any one of you O servants of Allāh. This is the greatest opportunity out of the whole year to gain reward.

We are encouraging all brothers and sisters to donate an amount of £10 or more if you are able (for GREATER reward) a day/night to the New Masjid Build for the remaining last 10 days of Ramadhān.

If a person was to donate a greater amount of £35 a day then this would firstly equate to the amount of a musalla from the Masjid Musalla Campaign and secondly, the reward for that person would be immense.

Imagine, in the event that one night of your donation coincides with Laylatul Qadr then just imagine the greatness of the reward you may achieve for your Hereafter (with Allāh, The Mighty and Majestic).

It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Seek Laylat al-Qadr among the odd numbered nights of the last ten nights of Ramadaan.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2017; Muslim, 1169.

One of Reasons The People of Tawheed Are Honoured By Allaah – [A Brief Reminder By Shaikh Rabee (Hafidhahullaah)]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
But honour, power and glory belong to Allaah, His Messenger [Muhammad)], and to the believers.
[Surah Al-Munaafiqoon’ Aayah 8]
Honour, power and glory belongs to Allaah, and then to the people of Tawheed [i.e. the honour and aid Allaah bestows on them], because they neither humble themselves nor bow except to Allaah [alone]. They do not fear [anyone]; neither do they place their hope [in anything] nor do they have a fervent desire except for the reward of The Most Great, The Compeller, in whose Hand is the dominion, the Owner of everthing and the One who has grasped everything by its forelock [i.e. everything is under His absolute control, dominion and authority] – Glorified and Exalted be He [i.e. Allaah].
Therefore, it is obligated on a Muslim to have great fear when he mentions Allaah and when he fulfils any act of worship, so that he finds himself in that station of Ihsaan described by the Messenger [alayhis salaatu wassalaam], which is ‘to worship Allaah as if you see Him, and even though you cannot see Him, you know that He sees you.”
