The Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said to his cousin, Abdullaah ibn `Abbaas) whilst he was still a youth, “O young boy, surely I will teach you some words” and then he began to teach Abdullaah ibn `Abbaas. He said to him:
“Be mindful of Allāh and he will protect you, be mindful of Allāh and you will find him in-front of you. If you ask than ask of Allāh, and know that if all the people were to gather together to benefit you with something, they could not benefit you except with that which Allāh has already written for you – and if they were to gather together to harm you with anything they would not be able to harm you except with that which Allāh has already written and decreed for you. Indeed the pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”
Abdullaah Ibn Qaratnarrated from Allaah’s Messenger (salallaahu `alaihi wassallam) that he said:
“The first thing that the slave will be accounted for on the Day of Resurrection will be the prayer – if that is sound then the rest of the deeds will be sound, and if that is corrupt then the rest of the deeds shall be likewise corrupt.”
(At-Tabaraanee in Al-Awsat 1859; Al-Albaanee declared it saheeh in As-Saheehah 1358)
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Firstly: The following links contain a rebuttal of that stooge of the Hizbiyyoon at Markaz as-Sunnah (The allies of Greenlane in Stoke-On-Trent) – a caller who sought and still seeks to spread his absurd doubts amongst some of the brothers by way of text messages.
Secondly: The stooge has started spreading his doubts again and we have already started a series of articles to address issues around his shubuhaat. See the following links:
Finally: The hizbiyyoon at Markaz As-Sunnah (allies of Greenlane and Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth UK) keep silent as if they do not desire any fitna, yet they are shelterers of this stooge -loud mouth- who is foolish enough to spread Shubuhaat. Therefore, we will –InShaaAllaah continue to warn against his doubts. May Allaah guide him or protect us from his evil. Aameen
Whoever ponders upon the end result of the worldly life will be cautious, and whoever is certain about the long distance of the journey (i.e. the hereafter) will prepare for the journey. How amazing is your affair O you the one who has certainty about an affair, but then you forget about it. The harm of the state of affairs is real, but you are unconscious of it! You fear the people, whilst Allaah is more worthy of being feared! You are overwhelmed by what you presume and not by what you are certain of. And among the most amazing of affairs is your happiness with beguilement and forgetfulness in amusement in that which will come to an end. You are deceived by your health and forgetful of the approach of illness. You rejoice with your well-being and are heedless of the close approach of agony. Indeed, the death of other than yourself should show you your death and the death bed of other than yourself has been made visible before (your)death. Indeed you are pre-occupied with your inclination towards pleasures (i.e. forbidden ones) and (diverted) from remembrance of the destruction of yourself. It is as if you have not heard of the news about those who have passed away and that you have not seen what time has done to those who have remained. And if you do not know, then those are their dwelling places and graves before you, destroyed by the winds.

The Messenger ( sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam ) said: ”
The best of the believers are those with the best manners. The most discerning of them is the one who remembers death the most and makes the best preparation for it. Those are the discerning ones”.

“Too much socialising, wishing for things, attachment to others besides Allaah, filling one’s stomach and sleep; these five affairs are among the greatest corrupters of the heart”.
