Reminder: Nice gesture from a husband to his wife after dinner!

A husband finished worked very early today and had a long day with his wife and kids. After dinner, husband washed the dishes to demonstrate a nice gesture. Wife insisted that the dishes and the rest of the household affairs are her responsibility and not that of the husband, but husband insisted that he only wanted to lighten her burden after she stood for two hours making dinner for him and the children. We ask Allaah (The Most High) to grant us a lot of compassion in our marriages. Aameen.  picture: nice gesture

Husband says that he only desires to remind us of some of those little things that can make a big difference In-Shaa-Allaah.

For these matters have certain outward binding necessities (lawaazim dhaahirah) and the outward matters necessitate inward matters. And this is a matter known, the people know this concerning the one that they have experienced and tested (jarraboohu wamtahinoohu)…

Al’Amash (rahimahullaah) said:

They (Salaf) did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (i.e. visits) and who he associates with among the people.”
