‘Indeed Allaah is Pure and He does not accept, except that which is pure’

The Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said:

‘Indeed Allaah is Pure and He does not accept, except that which is pure’

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

In this hadith he (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) described Allaah (جل وعلا) (saying) that Allaah (سبحانه) is Pure.  He (سبحانه) is Pure, meaning: He is free from all imperfections and deficiencies.  He is Pure in His Essence, in His Names and Attributes and with regards to His Commandments and Prohibitions.  He (سبحانه) is Pure in every aspect and imperfection cannot reach Him; and for that reason He does not accept actions, statements and intentions except that which is pure.  He does not accept filthy statements, actions and intentions.  He does not accept except the pure, as He (The Most High) said: [إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۚ  ] ‘To Him ascend (all) the goodly words’[Surah Faatir Ayah: 10]

He (سبحانه) does not accept, except good speech and good actions…up until the Sheikh said: As for filthy speech, then indeed Allaah rejects and hates it; such as lies, backbiting, tale carrying, abuse, false speech and false testimony and all filthy statements; (such as) shirk and kufr.  All of this is filthy speech and does not ascend to Allaah, and is not accepted.

Obedience to the Muslim rulers–Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him)

Question to Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him):

‘How do we reconcile the Hadith: ”Whoever is killed while protecting his property, then he is a martyr” (1) and the Hadith: ”You should listen and obey the ruler even if he flogs your back and takes your wealth, then still hear and obey.”(2)
Answer:
”You should hear and obey the ruler even if he flogs your back and takes your wealth.”  This is with the Muslim Ruler. (i.e. this is the manner the Muslim is expected to behave with the Muslim Ruler). As for protecting one’s wealth (by way of resistance), this is (done) with other than the Muslim Ruler.  If an oppressor, or a thief, or a robber, or a highway robber wants to take your wealth, then you defend (i.e. defend yourself) even if you are killed.  If killed, you are a martyr.  As for the Muslim Ruler, you do not resist.  Even if your wealth is taken, you do not resist; rather exercise patience due to the greater evil (i.e. the greater evil that may come about from resisting).   So there is differentiation between the Muslim Ruler and someone among the people (i.e. oppression received from someone among the people)

Question:
What do you say to the one who says: ”Indeed the hadith (i.e. the above hadith) nurtures the Muslim upon weakness.”

Answer:
The Hadith nurtures the Muslim upon obedience and strength.  This is because obedience to the Muslim Ruler is Strength and not weakness. He leaves this (i.e. this resistance against the Muslim Ruler) for the sake of a universal good and (for the sake of) uniting the word of the Muslims.  The people of desires want to do away with the authentic proofs so that they can safeguard their views.  This is their intention.  They bring doubts in the aayaat and the ahaadith in order to safeguard their deviated views.

The Ruling on the Common people of the Rawaafid (shia)—Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadee (may Allaah preserve him)

Question:

Our Shaikh (may Allaah preserve you); the questioner says: What is the ruling on the common people of the Rawaafid (shia) and how do we deal with them?

Answer:

The questioner differentiates between the common people and other than them; this is a good approach. The common people who neither speak ill of the wives of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) nor do they make takfeer of the Sahaabah (radiyallaahu-anhum), nor do they believe that the Qur’aan is distorted; but they have some Rafd (i.e. beliefs of the raafidah) and some hatred for the Sahaabah without making takfeer of them and what is similar to (these actions); then these ones are misguided innovators and we do not declare them disbelievers. And whoever joins their heretics in making takfeer of Muhammad’s (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) Sahaabah; in speaking ill of the wives of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam); in the filthy belief that the Qur’aan has been distorted, and that there is an addition and deficiency in it, then this (person) is a disbeliever similar to the disbelievers of the Yahood and Nasaaraa—there is no differentiation between their common people and their scholars (in this affair).

Question

How do we deal with them?

Answer:

If dealing with them is with regards to a worldly affair—business transactions and what is similar to that—(then) it is permissible to trade with a Jew, a Christian and a Raafidee; but as for co-operating with them in the affairs of religion, then never. [Allaah (The Most High)] said: [وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ‌ۚ] ‘’Do not help one another in sin and transgression.’’ [5:2] Rather their scholars and callers are boycotted and they are warned against.

All You Need To Know About Yasir Qadhi…visit www.salafis.com

Quote:

Welcome to Salafis.Com! There is much talk regarding Salafis and Salafiyyah in books, journals, the press and various other media. The “Salafi Way” is not something new, invented or innovated. By definition, it is the pure Islaam which the Companions of Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) held onto. When the sects foretold by the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) appeared, those who took knowledge from the Companions began to verbally express the obligation of holding onto the way of (السلف الصالح), “The Righteous Predecessors.” From such statements is the saying of Imaam al-Zuhree (d. 124H), “Adhere to the tracks of the Salaf, even if the people reject you. And beware of the opinions of men, even if they beautify it for you with speech.” Hence, Salafiyyah is not a later innovation. Salafis are the target of sectarian bias and bigotry for many factions, from them the Raafidah, Soofiyyah, Kharijites and takfiris, the blind-followers of the madhaahib, Secularists, Modernists and many others. As such there is a lot of propaganda in the field which is unfortunately entered into what is claimed to be “objective research”. To make matters more confusing is the presence of numerous orientations falsely ascribing to Salafiyyah despite their deviations from it in their foundations and methodologies. Many of the takfiri, Khariji groups make this false ascription. This adds another layer of confusion to anyone wanting to research and understand Salafiyyah, and leads to Salafis being wrongly attributed with the iniquities of the takfiris and Kharijites. In light of all of these realities, this website aims to provide relevant information and critical evaluation and analysis of the various views and opinions that are being scattered in books, journals, blogs, websites, audios and videos in relation to “Salafis” and “Salafiyyah“.

Our Salaf: Al’Hasan Al’Basri—The Believer has a good suspicion of his Lord….

Al-Hasan Al-Basri (rahimahullaah) said:

”Indeed, the believer has a good suspicion of  his Lord and then (strives to) perfect his deeds. And indeed, the hypocrite has an evil suspicion of his Lord and then (engages) in evil deeds.”

What is Fusooq? Shaikh Fawzaan explains

Question:

Concerning the statement of Allaah (The Most High): [وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَان] – ”And has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you.” [Al-Hujuraat. Ayah 7]   Al-Fusooq and Al-Faasiqoon have been mentioned several times in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, so what is Fusooq and how can a Muslim be careful of becoming from a people who are Faasiqeen?

Answer:

Concerning Allaah’s (The Most High) statement:  [وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَان]- ”And has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you”; He (Glorified Be He) mentioned the three types of acts of disobedience in this noble Ayah:

(A) The type of disobedience that removes a person from the fold of Islaam, such as Kufr (Akbar) and Shirk (Akbar).

(B) The major type of disobedience which is lesser than Kufr (Akbar) and Shirk (Akbar) and it does not remove a person from the Religion but it decreases one’s Imaan—a manifest decrease–; such as fornication, theft, drinking alcohol and other than that of the major sins.  They are referred to as Fusooq (wicked deeds) and the person who commits them is referred to as a Faasiq (wicked sinner) because Fisq means removing oneself from obedience to Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic].

(C) Then He (The Most High) mentioned the type of disobedience that is lesser than the major sins and are not tantamount to Fisq, and they are the minor sins.

So Allaah (Glorified Be He) informed (us) that He has made all these three types of disobedience hateful to the people of Imaan and make them have a love for the various types of acts of obedience and righteous actions that draws them close to their Lord.

A lofty benefit and ruling in Soorah Al-Hujuraat—Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said:

”In this great soorah there are lofty benefits and rulings. The Muslims are greatly in need of understanding and being conscious of it, and they are to take benefit from it. In the first part, there is a warning against putting oneself forward before Allaah and His Messenger, and that which is incumbent upon the people of Eemaan is that they should be followers and not innovators, and that they do not put themselves forward before Allaah and His Messenger.” [Source: Al-fawaa-id Min Ad-Durar Al-Baaziyyah: page391: vol: 4]
