[1] Good Manners

Aa’isha (radiyallaahu-anhaa) said: The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) used to say:

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي

”O Allaah! Just as you have made my physical appearance good (or perfect without defects);then make my manners good.”

[1] A Reminder to Misguided Shadeed Muhammad and his companions amongst the corrupters!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Ustaadh Uwais At-Taweel (may Allaah preserve him) delivered an excellent rebutted against Shadeed Muhammad for his devilish insinuations against the ulama; so we remind Shadeed and his misguided party as follows…..The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ”The Ulama are the inheritors of the Prophets.”

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:

This is from the greatest virtues of the people of knowledge; for indeed the Prophets are the best amongst Allaah’s creation, therefore their inheritors are the best amongst the creation. And when it is the case that every giver of inheritance is to pass inheritance to his inheritor, then the scholars are the ones who take up the responsibility of the Prophets after their departure. There is none to take up the responsibility of the Prophets in propagating that which the Prophets were sent with except the scholars. They are the most worthy amongst the people to receive this inheritance from the Prophets.

In this is a notification that the scholars are the closest to the Prophets amongst the people, for indeed inheritance is received by the person who is closest to the one who gives it. And just as this is established in worldly inheritance and inheritance of Daraahim (i.e. money), likewise it is the case with regards to inheritance of the (knowledge and responsibility left behind by the) Prophets. And Allaah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills….[1]

Imam Sadi (rahimahullaa) stated:

They [i.e. (the upright) scholars and teachers] are the mediators between the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and his Ummah with regards to propagation of his religion and clarification of his sharee-ah. Had it not been for these ones, the people would have been like cattle. Their rights are greater than the rights of the fathers and the mothers; for indeed they nurture the souls and hearts of the slaves upon the beneficial sciences and sound knowledge. They are the ones who guide the Ummah in the fundamental and subsidiary affairs of their Religion. They return them to the rulings pertaining to the rights and dealings that are incumbent upon a person to fulfil, just as they return them to the affairs pertaining to affairs of worship. Through them the Book and the Sunnah are established; truth is made clear truth from falsehood, guidance as opposed to misguidance, the lawful as opposed to the unlawful, good as opposed to evil, and rectification as opposed to corruption.  They are of varying ranks, in accordance with what they establish of knowledge, teaching and benefit- great or small. They have great rights (to be fulfilled) by the Ummah and are in possession of a sublime status.

Therefore, the people must have love and respect for them. They must recognize their excellence and virtue, and thank them greatly.  They are to supplicate for them in private and public, and seek nearness to Allaah by having love for them and praising them.  They are to proclaim their excellence, and guard the hearts and the tongues against insulting them, which when present would tarnish their excellence. [2] [End of quote]

So may Allaah guide Shadeed Muhammad or humiliate him. Aameen

A Few Reminders for the youth!

Remember this whenever you are aggressive or abrupt in speech towards elders due to being deceived by your youth

Allaah (The Most High) said:

اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ

”Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things).” [30:54]

Remember this whenever you are amazed with the little you know!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَٱللَّهُ أَخۡرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـًٔ۬ا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَ‌ۙ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

”And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah).” [16:78]

Be Mindful of Self-Amazement, especially when your speech is received with acceptance

Imam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) stated in Al Fawaa-id (page 225) that Ibn Sad (rahimahullaah) stated in At Tabaqaat about Umar Ibn Abdul Azeez (rahimahullaah): Whenever he delivered a sermon and feared being amazed with himself, he would end it. And whenever he wrote a letter and feared amazement by way of it; he would tear it. And he would say: ”O Allaah! I seek refuge with you from the evil of my soul.”

Be fair in your dealings and may Allaah bless you!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

“Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others).”And weigh with the true and straight balance. “And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land. “And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old.” [26:181-184]

Imaam Abu Daawud As-Sijistaani (rahimahullaah)

Imaam Dhahabi (rahimahullaah) stated: And it has reached us that Abu Daawud was from the diligent scholars who acted upon his knowledge, until some of the Imaams stated: Abu Daawud used to resemble Ahmad Bin Hanbal (in the manner in which he followed) the guidance, in conduct and character. Ahmad used to resemble Wakee in these (affairs) and Wakee used to resemble Sufyaan. Sufyaan used to resemble Mansoor in these (affairs) and Mansoor used to resemble Ibraaheem. Ibraaheem used to resemble Alqamah in these (affairs) and Alqamah used to resemble Ibn Mas’ood. And Alqamah said: Ibn Mas’ood used to resemble the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in the manner he followed the guidance and in his conduct.

‘’Your wives are a tilth for you’’—Derived benefits from Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah)

Allaah (The Most High) said:

[نِسَآؤُكُمۡ حَرۡثٌ۬ لَّكُمۡ فَأۡتُواْ حَرۡثَكُمۡ أَنَّىٰ شِئۡتُمۡ‌ۖ- Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will] [Soorah Al-Baqarah Ayah: 223]

Imaam Al-Bukhaari (rahimahullaah) reported on the authority of Jaabir (radiyallaahu anhu), who said: The Yahood used to say: “If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back (i.e. he approaches his wife from the back, even though sex takes place in the vagina and not the anus), then she will deliver a squint-eyed child.” So this Verse was revealed: [نِسَآؤُكُمۡ حَرۡثٌ۬ لَّكُمۡ فَأۡتُواْ حَرۡثَكُمۡ أَنَّىٰ شِئۡتُمۡ‌ۖ- Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will] [1]

The vagina is the place of seeking after children. As for the anus, it has not been uttered on the tongue of a single Prophet among the Prophets that it is permissible (to have sexual intercourse in the anus). Imaam Abu Daawud (rahimahullaah) reported in his Sunan from Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu) that the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ”Cursed is the one who has sexual intercourse with his wife in the anus.” [2]

If it is the case that Allaah has prohibited sexual intercourse through the vagina due to an apparent harm (i.e. at the time of menstruation or post natal bleeding), then what about the area (i.e. the anus) which is a place for removal of harmful things (i.e. faeces) permanently.

The woman has a right to be fulfilled by the husband during sexual relations; therefore to perform sexual intercourse with her through the anus is violation of this right. Anal intercourse neither fulfils her sexual desires nor does it reach its objective. Also, neither is the anus naturally prepared for this act nor was it created for that purpose; rather the vagina is the natural place  prepared for sexual relations.

Sexual intercourse through the anus is harmful for the man; likewise it is greatly harmful for the woman because it is something very strange and far removed from innate natural human disposition.

It is from the greatest causes of punishment and blessings being taken away because it brings about Allaah’s Anger and Curse. It also deprives the person of shyness because shyness gives life to the heart [i.e. makes it hate and stay away from evil (and) repugnant acts]. However, if the heart is deprived of this shyness, it starts beautifying repugnant acts and declaring good acts repugnant, and thus corruption becomes strengthened and dominant.

[7]Conclusion: Allaah’s Various Types of Punishments and Their Causes—Shaikh Abdullaah Ibn Salfeeq Adh-Dhufayree (may Allaah preserve him)

An Obligation Upon All Muslims

O slaves of Allaah! It is obligatory upon all the Mukallafeen among the Muslims–those who have reached the age of accountability in Islaam and are of sound mind– to repent to Allaah (Glorified and Exalted Be He); adhering to steadfastness upon the Religion of Allaah and to be cautious of what Allaah has prohibited, such as Shirk and acts of disobedience; so that they can receive wellbeing and be safeguarded from all evils in this life and the next. And so that all calamities are repelled from them and all good is conferred upon them. O slaves of Allaah! All these affairs cannot be accomplished except through obedience to Allaah and His Messenger, just as Allaah (Glorified and Exalted Be He) stated:

And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa(piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes, etc.). [7:96]

And Allaah (The Most High) said about the Ahlul Kitaab:

[وَلَوۡ أَنَّہُمۡ أَقَامُواْ ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةَ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡہِم مِّن رَّبِّہِمۡ لَأَڪَلُواْ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَمِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِهِم‌ۚ ]

And if only they had acted according to the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to them from their Lord (the Qur’an), they would surely have gotten provision from above them and from underneath their feet. [5:66]

And Allaah (The Most High) said:

”Did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment by night while they are asleep? Or, did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment in the forenoon while they play? Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allah. None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers.” [7:97-99]

O slaves of Allaah! Fear Allaah and be mindful of Him in your actions and within your own souls, and amongst your families. Enjoin obedience to Allaah and adherence to the truth upon yourselves and your families. Abandon disobedience, evil and corruption. Exalt Allaah’s Sharee-ah (i.e. Allaah’s commandments, prohibitions, laws and everything Allah has ordained), and exalt the Qur’aan and the prayer.

The Shaikh (may Allaah reward him with abundant good in this life and the next) ended these beneficial reminders with long supplications-asking Allaah by His Lofty Names and Attributes for Guidance; Taqwa; wellbeing and self-sufficiency. He also supplicated to Allaah to repel all calamities from us and include us from those who are repentant. He also asked Allaah to grant the Muslims victory in every place, especially the people of Sunnah etc

[3] A Description of the One Who Abandoned Knowledge of the Book and Preferred the Dunya over the Aakhirah [Summarized Benefits from Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah)]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Allaah [The Most High] said:

And recite (O Muhammad ) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw them away, so Shaitan (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray.

And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his description is the description of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the description of the people who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect.

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [rahimahullaah] said: Contemplate on the affairs of wisdom and (significant) meanings found in this parable:

From them is the statement of Allaah: [ءَاتَيۡنَـٰهُ ءَايَـٰتِنَا- To whom We gave Our Aayaat(proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)] Allaah informed (us) that He was the One Who gave this person knowledge of His Aayaat, for indeed it is blessing and Allaah is the One Who conferred it upon him. So Allaah attributed the source of this conferment to Himself. Then Allaah said: [فَٱنسَلَخَ مِنۡهَا- But he threw them away]; meaning: He left it in a manner similar to the manner in which a snake leaves its skin. And Allaah did not say, “We threw him away from it” because this person was the one who left it by way of following his desires.

And from those affairs of wisdom and (significant) meanings found in this parable is the statement of Allaah: [فَأَتۡبَعَهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ- So shaytaan(satan) followed him up]; meaning: shaytaan approached and pursued him, just as Allaah stated about Pharaoh’s people: [فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم مُّشۡرِقِينَ- So they pursued them at sunrise (26: 60)].

He (i.e. this person to whom Allaah gave knowledge of the Book) used to be protected and guarded against shaytaan through the Aayaat of Allaah; but when he threw away the Aayaat of Allaah, shaytaan overwhelmed him just as a lion overwhelms its prey;

[فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ- And he became of those who went astray]-those who act in opposition to the knowledge they possess and those who know the truth but act in opposition to it, just like the evil scholars.

And from those affairs of wisdom and (significant) meanings found in this parable is the statement of Allaah: [وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَرَفَعۡنَـٰهُ بِہَا- And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith]; Therefore, Allaah informed (us) that being elevated in His presence is not merely acquired through knowledge, for indeed this person was from the scholars; rather elevation is acquired through adherence to the truth, giving precedence to it and aiming to please Allaah. Indeed, this person was among the most knowledgeable during his era, but he was neither elevated through his knowledge nor did he benefit from it. We seek Allaah’s protection from knowledge that does not benefit.

So Allaah informs (us) that He is the One Who will raise His slave-if He wills-with what He has bestowed upon him of knowledge, and if He does not raise the slave, then he is lowered; for indeed The Lord –[The One Who lowers and raises]-lowered him and did not raise him. This means: ‘’Had we willed, We would have preferred him, ennobled him, raised his status and rank by way of the Aayaat we gave him. Ibn Abbaas (radiyallaahu-anhumaa) said: Had Allaah willed, He would have raised this person through the knowledge he (i.e. this person) possessed. [وَلَـٰكِنَّهُ ۥۤ أَخۡلَدَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ-But he clung to the earth]. Muqaatil (rahimahullaah) said: ‘’He became pleased with the Dunya.’’

[وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَٮٰهُ‌ۚ- And followed his own vain desire]. Al-Kalbee (rahimahullaah) said: He pursued the lowly affairs and abandoned the lofty affairs. Abu Rawqa (rahimahullaah) said: ‘’He chose the Dunyah over the Aakhirah.’’ Ataa (rahimahullaah said: ‘’He wanted the Dunya and obeyed his shaytaan.’’  Ibn Zayd (rahimahullaah said: ‘’He followed his desires by joining those who fought Musa (alayhis salaam) and his people.’’

To be continued [
