The Path to victory-Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz

Imaaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said:

So whoever wishes for victory and assistance from Allaah, and to make the word of (Allaah) uppermost, then he should change that which he is upon of disobedience, sins and opposition to the command of Allaah.   And your Lord has stated:

‘Allaah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islaam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me.'[24:55]

Allaah (subhaanah) did not say that He has made a promise to those who attribute themselves to the Quraish or the Arabs or those who build castles and excavate petroleum….rather Allaah tied this affair to true Imaan and righteous action-regardless whether they are Arabs or non-Arabs….[Source: Booklet Titled: Your Enemies Are About To Gather Against You: ‘The Causes Of The Weakness Of The Muslims In The Presence Of Their Enemy'(page:29-30)]

Victory for the Ummah–Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh al-Uthaymeen

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said:

Indeed, defeat of the Muslims occurred due to one act of disobedience (i.e. during the battle of Uhud). And at present we want victory whilst disobedience is plenty amongst us. And due to this it is not possible for us to rejoice with victory as long as we are upon this state of affairs, unless Allaah shows us kindness and rectify all of us.

Those Who Nickname the Salafis with the terms Madkhaliyyah, Jaamiyyah—Shaikh Rabee Responds

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Question:

Our Shaikh-may Allaah protect you.

What do you say about the one who hurl accusations at the Salafiyyoon– in Germany and other countries—with the (term) Madkhaliyyah or Madaakhilah! And that they (i.e. the salafiyoon) divide the Ummah! And that they make a (false) claim to Salafiyyah! And that they do not know except speaking ill of (people), refutation and defamation? May Allaah bless you and may Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) cure you.

Answer:

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه

To proceed:

Indeed, Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa-ah are solely followers of Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). They follow the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in creed, methodology, politics, and manners and in all affairs of life.  They are followers in that (i.e. in these affairs) and they do not innovate.  They are upon this ardent standpoint and adhering to the Messenger’s warning against ahlul bidah, and the warning of the Salaf against ahlul bidah.  They are adherents of this methodology.   The one who opposes them and nicknames them with the terms Jaamiyyah or Madkhaliyyah, then indeed he is misguided; rather he is one who wages war against the Sunnah and the Salafi Methodology.

Therefore, they should fear Allaah in their souls and abandon nicknaming with cruel nicknames. They should fear Allaah and speak a word of truth. [Allaah (The Most High)] said: [يا أيها الذين ءامنوا اتقوا الله وقولوا قولا سديدا يُصلح لكم أعمالكم ويغفر لكم ذنوبكم ] ”O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins.” [33:70-71]

Do you take revenge against these Salafiyyoon and nickname them with these nicknames only because they hold onto the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)? What is the bidah that the salafiyyoon have in order for them (i.e. the false accusers) to say Madkhaliyyah, Jaamiyyah? What is the bidah the Salafiyyoon have?

We know that Jamaa-ah At-Taleegh, Jamaa-ah Al-Ikhwaan (Muslimeen) and the Qutubiyyeen have bidah and affairs of misguidance in the fundamentals and subsidiary issues of the religion! So we advise them and clarify the truth to them—may Allaah bless you—so the one whom  Allaah(Glorified and Exalted Be He) grants Tawfeeq, he returns to correctness and traverses the path of the pious predecessors. And the one whom Allaah (The Blessed and Exalted) forsakes and does not wish good for him, then indeed he does not increase except in transgression and oppression.

وصلى الله على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم

Softening the hearts—‘’Had Allaah’s Messenger not forbidden us to invoke Allaah for death….

Narrated Qais: I heard Khabbab, who had branded his abdomen with seven brands, saying, “Had Allah’s Messenger not forbidden us to invoke Allah for death, I would have invoked Allah for death. The companions of Muhammad have left this world without taking anything of their reward in it but we have collected of the worldly wealth what we cannot spend but on earth.” [1]

Concerning the statement of Khabbaab (radiyallaahu-anhu): ”The companions of Muhammad have left this world without taking anything of their reward in it”; Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: They died upon tremendous good and did not reach the adornments of this worldly life. [2]

And concerning Khabbaab’s (radiyallaahu-anhu) statement:”But we have collected of the worldly wealth what we cannot spend but on earth”; Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: ”(Spent) on castles and houses.” [3]

Softening the hearts–Warning against competing in worldly pleasures and amusements

Narrated Abu Sa’eed (radiyallaahu-anhu): Allah’s Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “The thing I am afraid of most for your sake, is the worldly blessings which Allah will bring forth to you.” It was said, “What are the blessings of this world?” The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, “The pleasures of the world.” A man said, “Can the good bring forth evil?” The Prophet kept quiet for a while till we thought that he was being inspired divinely. Then he started removing the sweat from his forehead and said,” Where is the questioner?” That man said, “I (am present).” Abu Sa’id added: We thanked the man when the result (of his question) was such. The Prophet said, “Good never brings forth but good. This wealth (of the world) is (like) green and sweet (fruit), and all the vegetation which grows on the bank of a stream either kills or nearly kills the animal that eats too much of it, except the animal that eats the Khadira (a kind of vegetation). Such an animal eats till its stomach is full and then it faces the sun and starts ruminating and then it passes out dung and urine and goes to eat again. This worldly wealth is (like) sweet (fruit), and if a person earns it (the wealth) in a legal way and spends it properly, then it is an excellent helper, and whoever earns it in an illegal way, he will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied.” [1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) clarified that good only brings good.  Wealth is not absolute goodness, rather it is a trial. So whoever spends it in its rightful (place), then it is good; and whoever spends it in dubious ways, then it will be bad for him, such as the eater of the khadira (i.e. a kind of vegetation); but it becomes safe and sound when it defecates and urinates. Softening the hearts-Paradise is for the one who exercises patience after losing a beloved one!

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radiyallaahu-anhu]: Allaah’s Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, ”Allaah says, ‘I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my slave, a true believer  of Islamic Monotheism, who, if I cause his dear friend amongst the people of the earth to die, remains patience and hopes for Allaah’s reward.’ [1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: ‘Dear friend:  This means his beloved one, brother, father or wife. If he remains patient and hopes for Allaah’s reward, he will receive [the reward] of Paradise.

Softening the hearts [Saheeh Bukhaari: Chapter: One should always look at the one who is below him….

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu): Allaah’s Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ”If anyone of you looked at a person who was made superior to him in wealth and (good) appearance, then let him also look at the one who is below him and to whom he has been made superior.” [1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: So that he may recognize Allaah’s blessing upon him. And in another narration (it is stated): So that he does not belittle the blessings Allaah has bestowed upon him. [2]

[Saheeh Al-Bukhaari–Softening of the hearts—with short comments from Imaam Bin Baaz] Paradise is nearer to any of you than….

Narrated Abdullaah (radiyallaahu-anhu): ”The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: Paradise is nearer to any of you than the Shiraak (leather strap) of his shoe, and so is the (Hell) fire.” [1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: This (i.e. the above speech of the Prophet) is from Jawaami Al-kalim (i.e. a short expression with a vast meaning).  There is nothing between him (i.e. a person) and paradise except dying (in a state) of Imaan and (that can be within) a few moments.  And there is nothing between him and the hell fire except dying (in a state) of disbelief and (that can be within) a few moments. Aid Allaah’s Religion—Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadi (rahimahullaah) said:

”Aid Allaah’s Religion with your wealth; aid Allaah’s Religion with your person and aid Allaah’s Religion with your honour.  Everything else should be insignificant to you in aiding Allaah’s Religion. This is what befitting for every Muslim.”
